To recharge the batteries, place the Leapster Explorer, complete with rechargeable battery pack, onto the charging station.

According to the product specs, a four hour charge will give you up to 11 hours game play - although this is reduced according to how much you use the energy-hungry camera attachment, down to around 6 hours.
