Most docking stations will not work with the bumper still in place. Even Apple's own dock for the iPhone 4 cannot be used without first removing the bumper. The problem is that even though the bumper has a cut out for the port, the surrounding silicone pushes the iPhone up, so the pin does not sit comfortably in the phone.
